Why not Tourism Year 2068?
The clock is nearly striking 12. Be ready to welcome the year 2068 in a full dose. New Year is a big event for everyone as it is the time of merry making, gathering and time to make a resolution. New Year means getting together with friends and family to share wishes for happiness and prosperity in the coming year. New Year is the time when people start thinking to make next year better than this year and will probably even make a new year’s resolution or two.
Let’s make a resolution together to promote Nepal in 2068. In the mean time we are celebrating ‘Nepal Tourism Year 2011’ with the aim of doubling the number of foreign visitors and to establish Nepal as a choice of premier holiday destination with a definite brand image. The indication of the year ‘2011’ highlights little more for the foreign visitors than the native . So why not to emphasize “2068” just like “2011” to give priority to the domestic tourists and get encouraged ourselves to travel during our vacations.
Nepal is complete in itself. Nepal is gifted with mighty Himalayas, diverse culture, vibrant heritages and the unique hospitality of the people. New Year 2068 can be a good opportunity to contribute the nation to generate not only the international tourists but also domestic visitors.
“To make an end is to make a beginning”. So end the year 2067 to begin a something good that could not only give different taste but also contribute our nation for the development. You do it first to make other do that. This mean to say that firstly domestic tourist should be doubled to double the number of foreign visitor. “Make the habit of travelling”.
